January 17 (Renewables Now) - Onde SA (WSE:OND), the renewables construction business of Polish group Erbud SA (WSE:ERB), said on Friday it had signed a conditional contract for works on a 50.6-MW wind project in Potegowo, the northern Pomeranian province.
The company reported that the contract for the Drzezewo IV scheme was signed in November 2020 but it was prevented from revealing it earlier for confidentiality reasons. Currently, preparations to start construction of the wind farm are underway, as well as negotiations on the contract value and the works schedule, Onde added.
Initially the 50.6 MW project in Potegowo was to be developed by Warsaw-based Eviva Lebork, which in August 2022 agreed to be taken over by PAK-Polska Czysta Energia (PAK PCE) from Dutch-based Polish Wind Holdings.
The buyer, a unit of Polish utility group ZE PAK (WSE:ZEP), said then that the project, which had all the permits, would consist of 23 turbines with an estimated annual production of 170 GWh.
The expected date for launching the farm was the third quarter of 2024 at the latest, the buyer added. The investment for the acquisition and implementation of the project was estimated at a total of PLN 600 million (USD 138m/EUR 128m).
