Ukraine's national power grid operator Ukrenerho has said there is a "significant" power shortage following the Russian attacks on energy infrastructure on 14 January.
"As of 1030 [0830 gmt] on 17 January, there is a significant power shortage in the energy system, especially during morning and evening peaks of consumption. These are the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks on the energy infrastructure," Ukrenerho said on Telegram on 17 January.
It added that emergency power cuts were introduced in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya regions after energy consumption limits were exceeded.
