January 23 (Renewables Now) - Wind parks in the UK produced 118,959 MWh on January 22, corresponding to 17.65% of all power on that day.
Overall, power plants in the country generated 674,050 MWh for the whole day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).
With a daily output of 48,600 MWh, biomass-fired power plants had a share of 7.21%.
