Our group company e-Mobility Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “e-Mobility Power”) and e-Mobility Power subsidiary Japan Charge Network Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “JCN”) will establish e-Mobility Power as the surviving company. We would like to inform you that we have decided to conduct an absorption-type merger with JCN as the dissolved company.
The date of the absorption-type merger is scheduled for April 1, 2023, and all of JCN's rights and obligations will be transferred to e-Mobility Power through this absorption-type merger.
JCN was established in 2012 for the purpose of developing and providing services for charging infrastructure for EV/PHEV, and from June 1, 2021, the two companies will be integrated as a wholly owned subsidiary of eMP to develop expressway SA/PA and convenience stores. I have been responsible for the operation of chargers installed in stores.
By merging the two companies, we will be able to operate our business more efficiently and effectively than ever before, and e-Mobility Power's mission is to "provide and charge services that anyone can charge at a reasonable price anytime, anywhere." We will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through the promotion of infrastructure development and expansion.
