Nine public and private entities from Norway will be in Lisbon this Monday and Tuesday for a fact-finding mission: they want to know the areas that the Portuguese government will make available for offshore wind projects, and the technical and administrative details of these potential new businesses. With ambitious plans to explore offshore wind energy in its domestic market, Norway also sees Portugal as a major partner, since the 10 gigawatts (GW) of potential offshore wind capacity opens business opportunities for the next decade.
