CS Energy Announces Addition of Erol Ozkirbas as Chief Operating Officer

Erol Ozkirbas joins CS Energy as Chief Operating Officer. Erol brings more than three decades of experience in power construction and operations to CS Energy. CS Energy will add Erol and his expertise to a team of more than 170 employees who have collectively installed over 1.5 GW of solar energy and 470 MWh of energy storage capacity across the nation.

CS Energy, a leading integrated energy firm that designs and builds optimized projects in the solar, storage and emerging energy industries, announced today that Erol Ozkirbas has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to CS Energy, Erol was the Regional Vice President at Henkels and McCoy, a leading energy infrastructure engineering and construction company. At CS Energy, Erol will oversee EPC project execution and delivery.

CS Energy will add Erol and his expertise to a team of more than 170 employees who have collectively installed over 1.5 GW of solar energy and 470 MWh of energy storage capacity across the nation. Under Erol’s guidance, CS Energy will be able to expand its capabilities in developing customized, high-value utility and commercial solar energy and energy storage solutions.

Erol holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville-Indiana and has led a distinguished career in the energy industry. Prior to CS Energy, Erol served as the Regional Vice President for Henkels and McCoy, where he managed line of businesses that included power transmission distribution and substation engineering and construction.

Prior to Henkels and McCoy, Erol held several key roles in within the energy industry. Erol was the Chief Operating Officer of Energy at Altran North America; the Senior Vice President of Power Generation and Distribution at Burns and Roe Engineering and Construction; Vice President and General Manager of Power Operations at WorleyParsons Energy & Resources; and Vice President of Engineering and Construction at Constellation Energy Group. Throughout his career, Erol has been fundamental in implementing market strategies, managing construction, engineering, procurement, permitting, design, project development, consulting, and union relations.
