    Prime Minister to inaugurate K-3 Nuclear Power Plant in Karachi today - Press Note issued by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

      Following is the text of press note issued by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting


      Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will leave for Karachi on Thursday on a one-day visit. He will be the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony of the third unit (K-3) of the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP) built with the Chinese partnership.

      This project will increase total power generation from nuclear power plant in Karachi to 2200 MW. The Prime Minister will unveil the K-3 Power Plant plaque, and plant the sapling. Shehbaz Sharif will also address the participants.
