Fomento Paraná has renewed the Fomento Energia credit line and now allows financing investment projects by micro, small, and medium-sized companies for the acquisition and installation of components for power generation systems from renewable sources, up to a limit of R$ 500 thousand.
The line will be available from February 6th and can finance from civil works (construction and renovation), assembly and installation of micro and mini generation of photovoltaic, wind or biomass energy; acquisition and installation of new machinery and equipment, domestic or imported, or that are related to the project of micro and mini generation of renewable energy; to the acquisition of new appliances, with greater energy efficiency, such as LED lamps.
The resources for the renewal of the Fomento Energia line were obtained from CAF - Development Bank of Latin America in 2022 and allow to meet the main demand of the market in this segment, which is the credit for the acquisition of imported components for energy generation.
Currently, Fomento Paraná already offers two credit lines with BNDES resources for financing renewable energy generation systems, which are Finame Low Carbon and Finame Climate Fund, and also the line of own resources Fomento Energia, now reformed to operate with international resources obtained from CAF.
The interested entrepreneurs can finance up to 30% of the total credit of the projects as working capital associated to the fixed investment. The payment term for the Fomento Energia line will be up to 48 months, and may include a grace period of up to three months.
In addition, expenses verifiably made with own resources in fixed investments framed as bankable items, made within a period of up to six months before the financing proposals are submitted, may be reimbursed.
The Fomento Energia line cannot be used for enterprises still in the implementation phase, with less than 24 months of accounting invoicing.
