Sweden: EnBW and Kraftringen in wind power collaboration

    February 8, 2023 - M-Brain Nordic News

In Sweden, electric utility company EnBW and energy company Kraftringen Energi have launched a collaboration for developing wind power in collaboration with residents and the local communities in the region of Skåne. Workshops will be arranged where representatives of the community can take part in finding solutions where local residents benefit from planned wind power projects. This could include an offer of special electricity contracts for those who live closest to a wind farm. The objective is to expand wind power as a way of increasing local production of electricity in the region, where there is a need to increase production.
