CNJ NEO Energo to build 10 MW wind farm, 10 MW solar plant in Serbia

February 8, 2023 - SeeNews Power Market Review

BELGRADE (Serbia), February 8 (SeeNews) - Portuguese company CNJ NEO Energy plans to build a 10 MW wind farm and a solar power plant of the same capacity in Golubac, eastern Serbia, the local authorities said.

The wind farm and the solar plant will have a total area of some 150 hectares, according to project documents posted on the Golubac municipality website on Tuesday.

According to the Serbian business registry, CNJ NEO Energo is wholly owned by Lisbon-based Parjo. It was founded in July 2019 with a capital of 1,000 dinars ($9.14/8.52 euro).

Approached by SeeNews for information on the size of the planned investment, a local authority official declined to comment. CNJ NEO representatives did not respond to a SeeNews email seeking further details on the project by the time this article was published.
