ScottMadden Releases Four Strategic Priorities for Public Power

November 14, 2016

ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America's leading energy consulting firms, has released a report outlining four strategic priorities for public power.

ScottMadden has been advising public power executives and board members for decades and has recently conducted primary research on the strategic priorities of public power executives in North America. From this experience and research, four priorities emerged:

    • Enhancing Cybersecurity
    • Advancing Sustainability
    • Improving Financial Performance
    • Maintaining Safety and Reliability

Each of these topics is summarized in the initial report, and a series of focused publications detailing the associated challenges and opportunities for public power will follow. "These four strategic priorities should be high on the list for every public power CEO. If you don't have a plan that addresses these areas, you need to get one, and ScottMadden can help," said Marc Miller, partner and public power and electric cooperatives practice leader at ScottMadden.
