IMCORP Promotes Matthew Spalding to President

    MANCHESTER, CT., December 18, 2017. IMCORP, today announced Matthew Spalding, IMCORP Vice President of Sales & Marketing, has been promoted to President. Spalding will assume responsibilities on January 1, 2018 and will succeed Bruce Broussard, who is retiring. Spalding will report to Dr. Matthew Mashikian, IMCORP Chairman and CEO.

    “We are excited that Matt has accepted to become President of IMCORP,” said Mashikian. “Over the past few years he has proven to be a great asset by strengthening our client bases and expanding upon the portfolio of value we are able to deliver to them. His industry knowledge, business experience and vast network will ensure our continued growth in the coming decade.”

    Mashikian added “Bruce was instrumental in leading a fledgling company into the successful mature organization that we have today. We are all grateful that he will remain active on our leadership team as a Director on the IMCORP Board.”

    Spalding has been part of the IMCORP team since 2015, beginning as Vice President of Business Development, before receiving a promotion to Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the beginning of 2017. During his time at IMCORP, Spalding has led the acquisition of major accounts and was instrumental in the diversification of the company’s account base.

    Spalding has worked in the utility industry for over 30 years, starting as an engineer at El Paso Electric and working his way to becoming an executive at utility supplier Raychem/Tyco. Prior to joining IMCORP, Spalding worked for ABB’s HV/EHV Underground Cable Systems. Spalding holds a BSEE degree from New Mexico State University, completed Master’s level studies in Engineering Economic Systems (MSIE) at Stanford University and holds 14 power systems related patents.
