Houston, T.X. – October 09, 2018 – EC Infosystems, a leader in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Billing/Customer Information Solutions (CIS) for companies in the deregulated energy industry, announced the opening of their fourth national office in Houston, Texas.

Located at 2617 Bissonnet Street, Houston TX, 77005, the company’s latest endeavor serves as the company’s newest satellite office outside of the Uniondale, NY headquarters.  The state-of-the-art space joins New York City and Allentown, Pennsylvania as an integral part of EC Infosystems’ nationwide expansion.

The latest office expansion, located on the corner of Bissonnet Street and Kirby Drive, in the West University Place neighborhood in Houston, is an exciting addition to the company and highlights the company’s dedication to its Texas customers.  The new Texas office location was intentionally chosen in a highly convenient and walkable location, within walking distance from restaurants, retail shops, fitness studios, coffee shops, and more, making it an easy and convenient place to meet with customers.

“While our commitment to the Texas market has always been a top priority in our software and services,” explains EC Infosystems’ President and CEO, Mohan Wanchoo, “we felt that our strategic roadmap and growing client base made it a smart decision to add Houston to the list of our rapidly-expanding office locations.”

Recent client acquisitions of suppliers like Mega/Texans Energy and Spark Energy have established EC Infosystems as not just the leading provider of EDI and Billing/CIS in the northeastern deregulated markets but also as a Lonestar state powerhouse.

“Our ever-expanding clientele based and operating in Texas made the choice to expand there a no-brainer,” says Ananda Goswami, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for EC Infosystems.  “With our new office space situated in the University Village area, we will have unparalleled access to all of the major energy hubs within Houston.”

Jason Garrett, Spark Energy EVP Retail, added, “EC Infosystems has been a longtime partner of Spark and we are very excited to build on the success of our relationship.  Having a local office in Houston will facilitate our day to day interactions with the EC Infosystems team.  We look forward to having them as a local neighbor.”

The company’s newest office space will house client services staff, technical support and development analysts, and migration specialists.  As EC Infosystems continues to expand their operations in the three northern office locations, the company simultaneously plans to rapidly recruit and hire deregulated energy experts in various concentrations within the coming months for the Houston office specifically.
