ScottMadden Founding Participant of Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative

September 22, 2021

ScottMadden, Inc., along with organizations from multiple key sectors have launched the Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative (SETRI) in support of policies and actions in the Southeast that advance the Electric Vehicle (EV) market and associated infrastructure in the region.

The initiative is geared towards accelerating the benefits of electric transportation by coordinating and collaborating with key stakeholders that include vehicle manufactures, charging station providers, supply chain companies, electric utilities, fleet managers, universities, Clean Cities coalitions, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations.

“We are excited to join the other founding members in the creation and support of SETRI to help to address barriers to transportation electrification and accelerate EV adoption in the Southeast.” – Kevin Hernandez, Partner, ScottMadden.

ScottMadden is among 60+ public and private organizations that are founding signatories to SETRI’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The coalition’s guiding principles are to:

    • Promote regional EV market development,
    • Conduct education and outreach to consumers and decision-makers,
    • Coordinate state electrification efforts and university research, and
    • Collaborate with transportation electrification efforts outside the Southeast.
