    News: The Council for the Development of Cambodia has approved the construction of the 150MW Tatai Leu hydropower dam project in the Koh Kong province. Cambodia Upper Tatay Hydropower will develop the USD389.0mn project, located in Thma Bang district and Koh Kong district along the Tatai River. The dam is expected to generate around 527GWh of electricity per annum, which will be purchased by Electricity of Cambodia at USD0.0792/kWh. Construction of the dam is due to be completed in four years, while the firm will continue to operate it for 35-years, reports Khmer Times.
