The Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, will participate today in the Green Hydrogen Global Assembly and Exhibition to be held in Barcelona, Spain, where he will address the 2022-2050 hydrogen strategy as well as the opportunities that our country presents to position itself as a leader in the production of renewable energies.
The minister will lead a delegation of 19 companies from the software and IT services sector with the aim of promoting this industry, which annually exports more than US$ 2,000 million, and generate new business opportunities.
Kulfas will visit the Foment del Treball Nacional confederation, which represents Catalan companies and industry, and will speak about Argentina's potential for the knowledge economy industry.
At that meeting, the Argentine companies that are part of the delegation will make contact with local companies.
Then he will participate in the International Convention Center of the Global Green Hydrogen Assembly and Exhibition where he will speak at the meeting "Green Hydrogen in Emerging Markets: Maximizing Potential and Avoiding Obstacles".
He will also participate in the main panel of the day: "Government Actions to Enable a Green Hydrogen Revolution," which will be led by the Third Vice President of Spain and Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera Rodriguez, and will include the participation of other senior government officials and leaders of companies advancing the development of green hydrogen.
During the day, the minister will also hold bilateral meetings with world leaders such as Teresa Ribera Rodriguez, former Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull, among others.
The Global Green Hydrogen Assembly and Exhibition, organized by the Green Hydrogen Organization (GH2) together with the Spanish Government, will bring together officials from different governments, the private sector and civil society to drive global action to accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen.
The companies that are part of the delegation are Infosis, Exactian Consulting, DEVP, Easycommerce Tech, Veritran, G&L Group, Unitech, lempert, Incluit, SDBL, Imhoit (Spanish company), Cloudspace, TGV, Clarika, Entornos Virtuales, Zentricx, Grupo Núcleo and Mambo.
The Minister of Government of the province of Salta and president of the state-owned company Saltic (Salta Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación Sociedad del Estado), Ricardo Villada; the Undersecretary of Knowledge Economy, María Apólito; the president of the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), Rubén Geneyro, and the rector of the University of San Martín, Carlos Greco, will also take part in the event.
