    Bluefloat, Falck Unveil Plans To Build 975MW Floating Offshore Wind Project In Italy

    News: A joint venture (JV) between BlueFloat Energy and Falck Renewables has unveiled plans to build a 975MW floating offshore wind project off the north-eastern coast of Sardinia in Italy. Called the Tibula Energia, the proposed project would feature 62 units of wind turbines. The scheme is likely to produce more than 3.4TWh of electricity per annum. The JV has already filed for a maritime concession and plans to start the authorisation process for ecological transition (Renewables Now).
