    Indian State Unveils Plan For 1.4GW Solar Project In Madhya Pradesh, India

    News: The government of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh has unveiled plans to build a 1.4GW solar project in the state. The proposed solar power plant would come up on 28sq km of land near the Behrara Mata Temple in Morena District. The solar facility is expected to be operational in a year. The district government has allotted 20sq km of land between Kailaras-Pahargarh road. The allotment process for the remaining 8sq km of land is also underway (PV Magazine).
