Wind share in UK’s power generation at 18.46% on May 24

    May 25 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines supplied 110,191 MWh of electricity to the UK grid on May 24, reaching a share of 18.46% in the production mix, data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo) show.

    The total electricity generation for the day stood at 597,035 MWh. The table below provides details on the share of different energy sources.
