    News: Edify Energy has secured a long-term syndicated loan from Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Westpac and DNB?to support the construction and operation of 150MW/300MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW). The BESS will comprise three partitions: 60MW/120MWh Riverina Energy Storage System 1, 65MW/130MWh Riverina Energy Storage System 2 and 25MW/50MWh Darlington Point Energy Storage System. Shell Energy will purchase electricity from RESS1 facility, while EnergyAustralia will purchase electricity from RESS 2 and DPESS facilities. Tesla Motors Australia will deliver the facility.?Construction of the project is due to start with completion due in stages from H123 (Energy Storage News).
