    News: SSE Renewables, in partnership with Marubeni and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, has awarded a contract to RPS Group to conduct an environmental impact assessment and habitats regulation assessment for a 2.6GW floating offshore wind project in Scotland. The scope of work comprises the E1 Zone in the Firth of Forth off the Angus Coast. The project is due to be operational before the end of 2030, according to a press release from RPS Group.
