    News: JLEN Environmental Assets Group has invested in an aquaculture project and a 50MW battery energy storage plant in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The financial close for the project was reached for GBP40.0mn (USD48.8mn) over three to four years, while 50% equity stake was acquired in Clayfords Energy Storage from Intelligent Land Investment group. Clayfords, responsible for development of 50MW lithium-ion battery energy storage plant, has received GBP14.1mn (USD17.23mn) investment from JLEN. The project is likely to start partial operations in 2024 and full operations in 2025, while the energy storage plant is expected to start commercial operations in Q424 (Morning Star).
