Wind’s share in UK’s power generation hits 20.25% on Aug 7

    August 8 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines supplied 92,002 MWh of electricity to the UK grid on August 7, reaching a share of 20.25%.

    Power plants in the country produced 454,387 MWh for the whole day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).
