    Genex Power To Buy 2GW Bulli Creek Battery-Plus-Solar Project In Queensland, Australia

    News: Genex Power has entered into an agreement with Solar Choice to buy an up to 2GW battery-plus-solar project in Queensland, Australia. The Bulli Creek project will feature installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and batteries across five phases. Under Phase I, a 400MW energy storage facility will be installed with a final investment decision expected in H224, while 475MW-675MW of solar PV panels will be installed under Phase II. Additional capacity for the project will be built in the subsequent stages. Solar Choice will provide developmental services for the project and will receive a development fee at financial close for each stage (Renewables Now).
