Berlin (dpa) - Wind turbine maker Nordex said on Tuesday that it had secured an order for wind turbines generating 31.5 megawatts of electricity for a wind farm in the German state of Brandenburg.

The customer is wpd, a German developer and operator of wind farms and solar parks that had previously ordered from Nordex.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

German-based Nordex will supply seven N149/4.X turbines of the Delta4000 series for the 31.5 MW Kantow wind farm being developed in Brandenburg, outside Berlin.

The deal also has a service contract for the maintenance of the turbines over 15 years with an extension option for an additional five years.

"The turbines with a rated output of 4.5 MW will be installed on hybrid towers with a hub height of 164 metres in summer 2023," the company said.
