    News: Ocean Winds, a 50-50 joint venture between EDP Renewables and Engie, submitted an offshore scoping report to Marine Scotland for the 2GW Caledonia offshore wind project in Scotland. The report outlines the considered technologies for developing the project on a 429sq km site in the Moray Firth. The report will also provide details for work, which will be undertaken for the Environmental Impact Assessment that will support the planning application for the project and is expected to be submitted in 2024. The power plant is due to be fully commissioned in 2030 (OffshoreWindBiz).
