Oil production in barrels per day (BPD) in the month of April 2023 was slightly lower than the previous month at 42,576 BPD.
According to a report by the Peruvian Hydrocarbons Society (SPH), which gathers official data from Perupetro, the figure recorded in April was 1.6% higher than that obtained in the same month last year.
"Among the lots with the highest production of this total are: lot X located in Piura with 9,008 barrels, lot 95 located in Loreto with 21,182 barrels, followed by lot Z-2B with 4,565 barrels. The lots with no production are: lot 67, Z-1, and Z-6", indicated the SPH.
Regarding natural gas production, there was a decrease from 1,451 MCFD in March to 1,369 MCFD in April 2023. This month's figure is slightly higher than the same month of the previous year.
"The companies that reported the highest production growth were: Pluspetrol with 65,309 MBPD, followed by Repsol with 13,221 MBPD," he remitted.
