    February 2, 2023 - M-Brain Nordic News

Finnish Peikko Group, a supplier of connection technology for precast and cast-in-situ construction, will deliver FatBar rock anchor sets and PSB punching reinforcement systems for the foundations of 25 wind turbines to be installed in Oulainen, Finland. Deliveries are scheduled to take place between April and October 2023. The Karahka onshore wind farm is expected to be operational by the end of 2024. The developer is VSB Uusiutuva Energia Suomi, part of Germany-headquartered VSB Group, majority-owned by Swiss investment firm Partners Group. The project's current owners are Finnish energy company Helen and Finnish Bank of Åland. Finland-headquartered construction company Nyab is the main contractor for the civil works and infrastructure. German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex will supply the 25 N163/5X 5.9-MW wind turbines.
