March 15 (Renewables Now) - UK wind parks generated 224,460 MWh of electricity on March 14, thus accounting for 36.02% of the total power output in the country for the day.
In all, UK power plants produced 623,091 MWh that day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).
