    Wind accounts for 36.02% of UK’s power output on Mar 14

      March 15 (Renewables Now) - UK wind parks generated 224,460 MWh of electricity on March 14, thus accounting for 36.02% of the total power output in the country for the day.

      In all, UK power plants produced 623,091 MWh that day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).

      The table below provides details on the generation by the different energy sources and their share in the country's mix.
