    Wind parks generate 22.27% of UK’s electricity on Mar 15

      March 16 (Renewables Now) - Wind farms in the UK generated 151,954 MWh on March 15, reaching a share of 22.27% in total power for the day.

      In all, UK power plants produced 682,247 MWh that day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).

      The table below contains details on the generation by the different energy sources and their share in the country's mix.
