    Hydroelectric power plants will be built near the border of the Russian Federation with Norway and Finland

      DP reports that in the Murmansk Region, preparations are beginning for the construction of the first hydroelectric power station, which will be the first one since the "perestroika era".

      TGC-1, the largest generating company in the North-West, is going to finish preparatory work for the construction of the Arktika small hydroelectric power plant as part of a cascade of hydroelectric power plants on the Paz River near the borders of Norway and Finland by the end of the year, according to the tender materials posted by the company on March 10.
