BELGRADE (Serbia), March 22 (SeeNews) - Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Windey signed a deal with Serbia’s Fintel Energija, a unit of Italy's Fintel Energia Group, for the delivery, assembly and maintenance of wind turbines for the 854 MW Mastrale Ring wind farm project, Fintel said on Wednesday.
Windey has been contracted to supply 112 turbines of 7.7 MW each for the project in the northern city of Subotica, Fintel said in a press release, without specifying the value of the deal.
The agreement also includes a ten-year service and maintenance agreement.
In January, Fintel signed a similar deal with Windey for the delivery, assembly and maintenance for wind farm projects with a total capacity of 110 MW in Serbia.
Shares in Fintel Energija last traded at 640 dinars ($5.88/5.45 euro) on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
Windey is a state-owned enterprise, which provides customised wind energy solutions for global clients, mainly focusing on wind turbine research and design, operation and maintenance.
