    Japanese companies will invest about £18 billion in British "green" energy

      Baku/19.05.23/Turan: Japanese companies are investing about £18 billion in the UK, mainly in projects in the field of renewable energy sources (RES), the statement of the office of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

      So, Marubeni Corp. and its partners intend to invest £10 billion over the next 10 years, including in an offshore wind farm in Scotland and green hydrogen projects in Wales and Scotland.

      Sumitomo Corp. intends to expand British projects in the field of offshore energy, planning investments totaling £4 billion.

      Mitsubishi Estate and Mitsui Fudosan, two of Japan's largest real estate companies, are investing £3.5 billion in the construction of affordable housing and office space. -0--
