May 22 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines produced 9.17%, or 98,939 MWh, of all electricity in France on May 21.
In all, France's power plants produced 1,078,763 MWh that day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.
Solar power accounted for 5.22% of the total output, with 56,277 MWh produced.

On May 19, the French wind turbines supplied 120,989 MWh of electricity to the grid, reaching a share of 10.01%. A day later, they generated 140,498 MWh for a share of 12.51%.
