    Electricity Ministry signs contract with Deloitte & Touche company

      20 May 2023 (Bahrain News Agency) Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, stressed continuous support to the energy sector, being a key contributor to the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also affirmed continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on this sector which plays a remarkable role in achieving the sustainable development goals 2030. He noted Bahrain's efforts to reach zero neutrality by 2060, cut down carbon emissions, handle the greenhouse effect and climate change.

      This came during the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs signing of a contract with Deloitte and Touche company to develop the electrical vehicles strategy and promote their spread in the right and sustainable way to reduce full reliance on fossil fuel and curb pollution.
