Poland's cabinet adopts resolution on financing for first n-power project

"The Council of Ministers is taking actions to ensure adequate financing for the construction of a nuclear power plant of up to 3,750 MWe electrical capacity," the statement read.

Poland will delegate the actions necessary to ensure financing for the project and raising the charter capital of Poland's nuclear SPV PEJ to proper institutions, the statement added.

The government is also working on ensuring conditions indispensable for the construction process, the statement added. These include developing draft legal regulations that will make it possible for the State Treasury to grant guarantees for loans necessary to cover the cost of the investment, as well as raising the charter capital of PEJ.
