    PM Approves Allocating Land for Generating Wind Power to Feed Green Hydrogen, Green Fuel Projects

      Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has approved the allocation of a piece of land in Gabal El Zeit area within the Gulf of Suez to be used in generating wind power at a capacity of 320 megawatts.

      This power will be used to feed two projects. The first project is for Norway's Scatec aiming to produce green hydrogen which is the first of its kind in the region. The first phase of the project has already been implemented.

      The second one is for Maersk, specialized in green fuel production to be used in fueling ships that are crossing Suez Canal.
