    Foley Hoag Represents Modern Hydrogen in $32.8 Million Series B-2 Financing

      BOSTON, Massachusetts, June 3 -- Foley Hoag, a law firm, issued the following news:

      Foley Hoag LLP represented Modern Hydrogen (formerly Modern Electron), a sustainable heat and hydrogen company, in an oversubscribed $32.8 million Series B-2 funding round, led by NextEra Energy, with participation from Muira, National Grid Partners and existing investors.

      Modern Hydrogen will leverage the investment to scale-up the capacity of its hydrogen production units.

      The capital will also be utilized to expand the company's clean carbon material offerings and boost its global market presence via a partnership with Miura in Japan.

      The Foley Hoag team representing Modern Hydrogen in the funding round included attorneys Mark Haddad and Emily Cain.
