    NTPC to commence commercial operation of second part capacity of Gandhar Solar PV Project

      India, June 6 -- NTPC is all set to commence commercial operation of second part capacity of 10 MW of 20 MW Gandhar Solar PV Project at Gandhar, Gujarat, with effect from June 7, 2023. The first part capacity of 10 MW has already been declared on commercial operation with effect from August 23, 2022.

      With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 56378 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 72364 MW.

      NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
