CHINT Solar, INTEC and Alight Partner for 64 MWp Solar Project in Sweden

    September 18, 2023 - Gulf Oil & Gas

INTEC Energy Solutions (INTEC), a leading solar EPC system provider, is further enhancing its continuing partnership with CHINT Solar (CHINT) – a global provider of smart energy solutions. INTEC and CHINT will provide comprehensive EPC and O&M services for the new project with 64 MWp capacity in Hallstavik, Sweden for our esteemed partner Alight, a leading solar developer and independent power producer.

The new project represents another remarkable milestone for us as INTEC has officially started its first solar energy operations in Sweden. The project kickoff meeting was held on August 10th at Alight’s headquarters, marking the initiation of operations at the project sites at full speed. We are pleased to bring value to Sweden’s goals of building a greener future with clean energy generation. In 2022, Sweden has experienced a growth in solar energy production and entered the biggest solar markets in the EU ranking. Our aim is to contribute to Sweden’s progress with our impactful project by bringing our experience and expertise.

Upon its completion, the project, a ground-mounted solar installation, will have an impressive annual capacity of generating 63 GWh of clean electricity. The energy produced by this system is capable of fulfilling the electricity requirements of more than 12,600 households throughout the year. The project plays a crucial role in fostering a sustainable future, with an estimated reduction in carbon emissions by approximately 18,300 tons annually. Also, the project site is designed to cover a vast area of 71 hectares, boasting a total peak power of 64 MWp.

“As Intec, we are thrilled to announce the beginning of a powerful partnership with Alight. Through this project, we will actively contribute to advancing sustainable energy sources and mitigating carbon emissions. We are deeply committed to delivering the best solutions while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality customer service.” said Adrien Joseph, CEO of INTEC Energy Solutions.
