Capital Energy, one of the most active Spanish companies in promoting renewable energy projects, wants to develop three offshore wind projects in Portugal. And it has taken the first steps towards environmental licensing for these farms even before the Portuguese government officially launched the first offshore wind energy auction. In all three projects, the company intends to install 4,365 megawatts (MW), which could mean investments of more than 13 billion euros if all the projects are confirmed.
