September 29 -- K.P. Energy has effectively completed the commissioning of an additional 10.5 MW (Phase-V) Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) connected wind power project, which includes five wind turbine generators (WTGs) of 2.1 MW each, situated at the Sidhpur site in Devbhoomi Dwarka. This Phase-V commissioning is part of the 250.8 MW ISTS connected wind power project capacity that Apraava Energy was awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) during Tranche-VIII bidding. KP Energy is responsible for the development of the project on behalf of Apraava Energy as a contractor, under the Land and Balance of Plant Contract.
With the latest Phase-V commissioning, the cumulative capacity commissioned at the Sidhpur site now totals 138.6 MW (comprising 52.5 MW + 29.4 MW + 25.2 MW + 21 MW + 10.5 MW), in relation to the awarded capacity of 250.8 MW.
