The biggest innovation event in the electricity sector, Citeenel 2023, will take place in São Luís (MA)

Registration is now open for the Congress on Technological Innovation and Energy Efficiency in the Electricity Sector - Citeenel 2023. Considered the largest innovation event in the electricity sector, the meeting will take place from October 25 to 27 in São Luís, the capital of Maranhão.

With the theme "Innovation from an ESG perspective: environmental, social and governance", Citeenel will bring together national and international experts to debate results, challenges and opportunities in areas such as the energy transition, digitalization and sustainability. There will be three days of programming, with panels, workshops and visits in which innovation enthusiasts will share knowledge and visions of the future from an ESG perspective.

In its 11th edition, Citeenel will be held in hybrid mode, offering an exclusive experience in its face-to-face program. As well as networking with national and international experts from the electricity sector, attending in person will guarantee access to practical activities such as workshops and technical visits. Virtual participation will include real-time transmission of panels and lectures and unlimited places.

Citeenel, held every two years by ANEEL in partnership with the energy distributors, is the main opportunity to discuss the results and impacts of the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) and Energy Efficiency (EE) programs regulated by the Agency and implemented by the energy generating, transmission and distribution companies.

The event is a great opportunity for electricity companies and institutions to publicize the technological innovations developed within the scope of the R&D and EE programs regulated by ANEEL, as well as being a moment to discuss the regulations currently in force. It is also a channel for discussing modernization trends in the electricity sector, transformations in the energy market and energy efficiency, among other topics.
