Vestas has received a 76 MW order for a wind park in Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of 18 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.
The project and customer are undisclosed.
Turbine delivery is expected for the first quarter of 2024 whilst commissioning is planed for the fourth quarter of 2024.
The order also reinforces Vestas' leadership in the country's wind energy sector, where it has installed over 5.1 GW since 1991.
