October 2 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines supplied 43,549 MWh of electricity to France's grid on October 1, reaching a share of 4.04%.
Total power generation for the 24 hours arrived at 1,077,394 MWh, according to live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.
Solar power plants generated 78,168 MWh, which is equal to a 7.26% share.

On September 29, wind accounted for 10.59% of the electricity generation in France, with 131,418 MWh generated. A day later, that share dropped to 2.36% as wind turbines generated only 26,123 MWh.
