Work to connect MacIntyre Wind Precinct to Queensland’s electricity grid has reached a major milestone. Powerlink successfully stood up the 100th transmission tower for the MacIntyre Wind Precinct. The project is set to generate 1,026MW of wind power. The Precinct is comprised of ACCIONA Energia's 923MW wind farm and 102MW Karara Wind Farm.
