N.Y. Board on Electric Generation Siting Issues Notice of Evidentiary Hearing Involving Baron Winds

    ALBANY, New York, May 23 -- The New York State Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment issued the following notice of evidentiary hearing (Case No. 15-F-0122) on May 22, 2023:

    Application of Baron Winds, LLC for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need to Construct a Wind Energy Facility.

    NOTICE OF EVIDENTIARY HEARING

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that an evidentiary hearing will be held before Administrative Law Judge Maureen F. Leary of the Department of Public Service and Administrative Law Judge Jennifer Ukeritis of the Department of Environmental Conservation at the Fremont Town Hall, 8217 Cream Hill Road, Arkport, New York. The evidentiary hearing will commence on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. and will continue each day thereafter, as needed, until completed.

    The purpose of the evidentiary hearing is to provide the parties with the opportunity to develop a complete record with respect to Baron Winds LLC's separate petitions to amend and transfer the Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for Phase II of the Project through the presentation and admission of evidence, the cross-examination of witnesses, and the consideration of any other matters appropriately raised.
