Sweden: Vattenfall sells wind farm electricity to Volvo Group

    In Sweden, energy company Vattenfall has signed an agreement with automotive manufacturer Volvo Group to sell 50% of the electricity produced at Bruzaholm wind farm over a 10-year period. The agreement is part of the strategy in Volvo Group to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions. The construction of the wind farm outside of Eksjö will start in summer 2023. It will be ready for commissioning in autumn 2025 according to plan. This is also the start of the supply agreement with Volvo Group. The farm will have an output of about 140 MW and an annual production of about 460 GWh.
