TotalEnergies keen to offshore wind power generating

    TotalEnergies and the Rio de Janeiro state administration have signed an agreement for the development of offshore wind power generating farms. It is a two years agreement whereby TotalEnergies engages in studies related to fiscal incentives and the electric power network to support future projects. Total have also signed by end 2022 a letter of understanding with Prumo Logistica, that manages the Porto do Açu facility, to set up logistics related to future offshore wind power farms and possible areas for environmental licenses are being evaluated. There is no an umbrella regulation for offshore wind power generating in Brazil.
