In Norway, several large projects that are supposed to contribute to protecting the climate have been postponed or suspended lately. Development of Equinor's Trollvind offshore wind power project, which would to supply electricity to the Troll and Oseberg fields as well as to the onshore grid, has been postponed indefinitely. Meanwhile, the Biozin biofuel plant, which was to supply biofuels to ships, trucks and planes, was suspended in May, and Freyr's battery factory in Mo i Rana might be postponed. In addition, the carbon capture project of Heidelberg Materials in Brevik is delayed by six months, and the carbon capture facility [at the waste incineration plant] at Klemetsrud risks never to be built. In all cases, increased costs are behind the situation.
